Job Description

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant marketing experience, including brand management, integrated paid and organic campaigns, digital channels, website or digital experience, organic social media, events, and agency or supplier management.

  • Experience in B2B or corporate audience marketing is advantageous.

  • Experience within higher education, executive education or professional development is advantageous.

  • Experience across multiple audiences, products or African markets would be beneficial.

  • Strong working knowledge of website content management systems, digital analytics, SEO, GEO, organic social media platforms and marketing CRM and automation platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate strategic brand direction into integrated paid and organic campaigns and market-facing activities.

  • Own the marketing direction, priorities and performance of the website and digital experience.

  • Own organic social media strategy, content planning, channel performance, audience growth and brand presence.

  • Lead brand-focused events, activations and market presence initiatives.

  • Lead marketing support where awareness, reputation and market presence are key to growth.

  • Provide marketing support for customised and key account activities.

  • Brief and manage web, UX, design, video, paid media, digital and event partners.

  • Monitor brand and campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness.

  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes and market impact through AI, automation and emerging technologies.

  • Plan, brief, execute, monitor and optimise paid and organic brand campaigns across relevant channels.

  • Manage allocated brand, digital and event budgets within approved parameters.

  • Assess supplier proposals and manage external resources with a focus on quality, value for money and delivery against scope.

  • Use relevant performance measures to assess the effectiveness of brand, digital and event activities and recommend improvements.

  • Work across channels and alongside programme marketing and communications with clear ownership and minimal duplication.
